Scottish Child Bridging Payments

Notes/Comments – £260 per pupil for those eligible for Free School Meals P1-S6

·       Children and young people receiving universal Free School Meal provision – i.e. those in P1-P5 who would not qualify for Free School Meals on low income criteria – are not eligible.

·       It will only cover pupils currently eligible and applications received up until 20^th December 2022 which are subsequently approved.

·       Any payments not made by 15^th December 2022 because applications have not yet been completed or approved will be paid by 31^st January 2023.

Remembrance Day Competition

These are the winning entries for the House Competition we ran for Remembrance Day.

All of S1 and S2 learned about the significance of the poppy symbol and participated in creating a commemorative poem, postage stamp or memorial to remember those who sacrificed their lives in the First World War.

Changes to Scottish Child Payment take effect from today (Monday 14 November 2022). This means that increased financial support will be available for more families.

If you are eligible, and have responsibility for one or more children aged 6 to 15, you need to take action to ensure you receive the support you are entitled to.
