Penicuik High School is committed to open and clear communications and the establishment of efficient and effective lines of communication across all our activities. We believe that good communication and information promotes a high quality service for our students and allows all stakeholders to make informed choices and contribute to improved outcomes for our students.

All parents/carers are reminded to inform the School Office of any change to contact details; address, telephone numbers and email. Please help us to keep your contact details up to date. We cannot contact you quickly and efficiently if you do not tell us of any changes to your address or phone numbers.

This website is designed to support efficient and effective communication practices.  It allows the school

  • to provide parents/carers/visitors a range of key and relevant school related information
  • to fulfil our statutory obligations to provide information
  • to communicate effectively with students and parents to support learning
  • to promote and celebrate the achievements of our students and staff
  • opportunities to consult with all stakeholders and for them to express their views and offer ideas and suggestions

We would also encourage all parents to follow Penicuik High School on Twitter. Our feed will give regular news from the school.
