Penicuik High School – Dux Litterarum Award

We recently announced a series of senior and junior awards that would have been presented last June as part of our 2019-20 Senior Prizegiving. These awards covered a range of subject awards including high achievement awards.

The premier academic award – the Dux Litterarum Award, a traditional school award for the top academic student in a school was awarded as part of this presentation on our website.

It is our pleasure to announce that Abigail Stuart who has attended Penicuik High School since entering at S1 in 2015-16 is our Dux for the session 2019-20 (her S5 year). Abigail has excelled academically as a student at Penicuik High School and this award is a just recognition of her commitment and application to learning. Abigail is to study medicine next year and we wish her well in her studies.
