RESPECT FOR THE COMMUNITY

All students are reminded that whether you are in school or out in Penicuik, you are representing your school and should show respect for the community and for property.  There should be no littering in the streets, please put your litter in bins provided or in your bag.  Thank you.

Can all students in S3 that had Miss Hardie for Art, please make sure you come and clear out your art folders and take any work home that you wish to keep, otherwise it will be going to recycling at the end of this week.  Thank you.

STUDENT LEADERS – PUPIL PANEL

We are looking for enthusiastic students in S2 to S5 (1 from each year group) to be part of a student and teacher panel for interviewing candidates for Student Leader positions in school.  If you are interested, please see Mr Milligen in room 48.

YOUNG AMBASSADORS

Interviews for pupils that have handed in Young Ambassador applications, will be held at lunchtime in the PE classroom TODAY.  If you have handed in an application, please come to the PE classroom at the start of lunchtime and bring your lunch with you.  Current Young Ambassadors, please also come to the PE classroom at the start of lunchtime.

‘GETTING INTO MEDICAL SCHOOL’ INFORMATION DAY

SATURDAY 31 AUGUST 2019, 9.30AM – 4PM

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is hosting the above information day for all students in S4 – S6 who are interested in a career in medicine.  Representatives from Scottish medical schools, Doctors, Surgeons and medical students will speak to students about making a successful application and options available to them beyond this.  If you are interested in attending this event, please see Mrs Brandie as soon as possible.
