This week, six of our S3 Design and Technology students spent five days as apprentice stonemasons. They have been learning how to repair and rebuild a stone wall at St Mungo’s Church using lime mortar and traditional building skills. This is part of a number of activities that we have organised with the Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project. Another group will continue with the work next week. Check out their work next time you are passing St Mungo’s.
