The aim of the BGE Course is to focus helping our students to become secure and confident with their knowledge of Mathematics.

We help students learn how to solve problems which require the use of Mathematical knowledge and techniques.

We aim to give all students the chance to take an active role in every lesson. We do this through the use of high quality active learning & teaching techniques :

• having a well planned curriculum, which builds on students’ understanding.
• Using collaborative learning, where students work in small groups to discuss and solve mathematical problems.
• Involving students in class discussion by using higher-order questioning techniques.
• Using ICT to enhance learning.

S1 students take part in investigations into Famous Mathematicians. S2 students take part in Mobile Phone Projects & Money Project.
