The Broad General Education at Lasswade High School builds on the primary school experience and consists of classes in S1 to S3.  S3 participation is through our options choice programme.

The course provides a broad practical experience of Art and Design practice and related knowledge and understanding. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with Art and Design materials; be imaginative and creative; present basic facts and ideas; and apply practical skills in response to given Expressive and Design tasks.

The course combines practical experiences in Expressive and Design activities along with developing a basic knowledge and understanding of artists and designers’ practice. Students will have opportunities to develop their analysis, practical and creativity skills by communicating their thoughts and ideas through their Expressive and Design work.
