The Inspection Team identified a wide range of strengths such as the way in which our values (PRIDE) played such a central role in the life and work of the school and the wide variety of opportunities available for students to achieve from Duke of Edinburgh Award to Model United Nations. The key contribution from so many partners to deliver these opportunities was another very notable feature.
They had very high praise for our young people who were consistently engaged in their learning in class enthusiastic about the opportunities available to achieve and immensely proud of their school. The students were a real credit to our community and the Managing Inspector has passed on her thanks to Scott and Annie (our Head Boy & Girl) for their excellent contributions throughout the week.
The care commitment and togetherness of the whole staff was also highlighted as a real strength and this showed itself particularly in the high quality of support offered for all of the students in classes and study sessions across the school and the determination to keep making things better for our young people.
The final report which will also contain areas which we should continue to develop is available on the Education Scotland website and was emailed to all parents and partners by the school (paper copies are also available from the school office).
