Unit 1: Computer Systems

The Computer Systems Unit develops an understanding of how computers work. The unit develops the candidates knowledge and understanding of Data Representation, Computer Structure, Peripherals, Networking and Computer Software

Unit 2: Software Development

The Software Development Unit develops the candidate’s knowledge and skills in developing software through the use of a high level programming language. The programming language used is Visual Basic.

Unit 3: Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence Unit develops the candidate’s knowledge in the development, construction, use and evaluation of AI applications. Prolog will be used for the construction of an AI application.
