S2 FRENCH TRIP – ROSSLYN CHAPEL

Any pupil who studies French in S2 and wishes to attend the trip to Rosslyn Chapel must return their permission slip to either Mrs Andrew or Mrs McEvoy by the end of the day on Wednesday (14 November). If you do not return your slip, you will not be able to go!

LIBRARY BOOK FAIR

A number of S6s are running a Book Fair at the school library during breaktime and lunchtime.  We will be selling posters, books and stationary.  All purchases will be going towards Penicuik Family Learning Centre, a local charity.  We will also be continuing the Book Fair at the Penicuik Library this Friday 9 November 1-3pm, Saturday 10 November 12-3pm and Sunday 11 November 12-3pm.  The book fair is only running until next week at the school.  So pop along and treat yourself.

 

COLLEGE COURSES

Are you thinking about leaving school at Christmas? If so it is important that you apply for a January start college course even if it is a back-up to your intended plan. The applications have now opened for January start courses at Edinburgh College. To find out more look online, speak to Caroline Steele (Careers Adviser), or your guidance teacher, as soon as possible.
