S1 ART TRIPS TO GALLERY – TUESDAY 21 AND WEDNESDAY 22 MAY

As the S1 Art trips to the gallery will be happening very shortly, could all pupils please remember to return their completed forms and payments of £5 to their art teacher as soon as possible.  Thank you.

OPEN 1500M

Any pupils in S1-S3 who would like to participate in the annual 1500m final please sign up in the PE Department by Tuesday 14 May at the latest. The event will take place during period 3 and 4 on Friday 17 May.  The current school records are: Girls – 5 mins 44 seconds  and Boys – 5 minutes 16 seconds.

ATHLETICS FINALS

Pupils in S1-S3 should check the lists outside the PE base to see if they have qualified for any of the Athletics finals (100m, 400m and 800m).  The finals take place on Wednesday 22 May periods 3 and 4.

WATER

All pupils are reminded that they should bring a filled water bottle to school but may top it up from the water fountain at break time and lunchtime.  Thank you.

RAG BAG COLLECTION – THURSDAY 23 MAY

The next Rag Bag collection will be on Thursday 23 May.  Some bags have been issued to your register classes, but there are plenty in the office if more are required.   Please fill your bag with wearable clothing, paired shoes, handbags and belts. Filled bags should only be returned to school on Wednesday 22 May, or first thing on Thursday 23 May.  Thank you in advance for supporting this.

SQA EXAMINATIONS

GYM CORRIDOR, LIBRARY CORRIDOR AND FRONT CORRIDOR

The above corridors are out of bounds during May to ensure peace and quiet for students sitting exams in the library and the assembly hall.  All movement in the old building should be quiet and upstairs.  The Music department can be accessed from the stairs at the BiteSite end of the corridor.  Access to the front of the building is for LLE rooms, the school office and toilets only.
