PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS CONTINUE

Examinations are taking place across the school so please try and move around the school quietly, particularly in the Art corridor and around the front areas of the school.

IT users should collect their equipment at the beginning of the day and should be returned at the end of day to the SfL Base.

REMINDER – S6 PHOTOS

Anyone wishing to order photos must have the order into the school office by this Friday 31 January 2020.  The group photo is on display in the cabinet outside the school office, and on the corridor wall.

RAG BAG COLLECTION 

We will be having a Rag Bag collection on Tuesday 18 February.  Over the holiday week please look out clothes/shoes/belts/handbags that you are finished with, put them in a bag and bring it in with you on Monday 17 February.  Bags will be collected near the janitors’ office (opposite Room 2).  All donations are welcome and you will help raise funds for your school.  Thank you.

YOUNG CARERS’ DAY

Thursday 30 January is National Young Carers’ Day. On this day, and all that week, we will be raising awareness of the work that Young Carers do to support others in their families. We have a number of Young Carers in the school and all this week we will be highlighting some of the challenges that young people face when caring for someone else.

REMINDER – ZENITH – MODERN APPRENTICESHIP IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Zenith, based in Bilston Glen Industrial Estate in Loanhead, has a Modern Apprenticeship opportunity for a school leaver aged 16-18.  If you are interested in applying for this post or would like further information, please see Mrs Brandie as soon as possible.
