Horrible Histories Club will start up again at lunchtime TODAY. Come along at 1pm to room 25 to watch, draw and read Horrible Histories.

Drama Club will resume next week – 14 January. The Old Gym, 3.30-4:15 pm. See you there!

S4 BASKETBALL

Basketball practice will resume next Thursday (16 January) at 3.30pm in the Games Hall.

S3 MINORS – CHANGES TO TIMETABLE

The rota for the S3 minors has been changed, so all S3 students have been issued with new timetables (via Register teachers). Timetables show the new minor class that was your 2nd choice back in August. Affects Wednesday P5 and Thursday P1.

S3 PSE/CORE

S3 have also changed PSE/Core RE as follows:

Monday Per 5 – 3C3 now have Mrs Murphy for PSE (from Ms Graham in RE)

Friday Per 1 – 3C5 now have Ms McLennan for PSE (from Ms Lyon in RE)

Tuesday Per 6 – 3C1 remain with Ms Graham but now for PSE instead of Core RE

Tuesday Per 6 – 3L4 remain with Mrs Brandie for PSE

INTRO TO COLLEGE GROUPS

There will then be one final session for this group in school on Tuesday 14/1/20 with the exception of anyone sitting a prelim that day.

Group 2  (dates 21/1, 28/1, 4/2, 18/2, 25/2 and 3/3)

Could these pupils please come and see me with their completed paperwork ASAP.

EDINBURGH COLLEGE – SCP AND FA COURSES – KEY DATES

Pupils attending Edinburgh College for School College Partnership and FA courses should be aware of the following dates:

  •        Thursday 9 January – SCP and FA classes resume.

     Please Note: It is essential that pupils continue to attend college during prelims.

  • 17 February SCP & FA courses open for applications for session 2020/21

College open days will be open to the public on:

  • 30 January 4.00pm-7.00pm at Milton Road Campus
  • 1 February 10.00am-2.00pm Granton Campus
  • 22 February 10.00am-2.00pm Sighthill Campus
  • 29 February 10.00am-2.00pm – Midlothian Campus

REMINDER – BURNT OUT RECORDS

Burnt Out Records are looking for new artists!  Auditions will be held on Monday 13 January 2020, after school in the Hub at 3.45pm.  All year groups are welcome to come and audition with an original song (one you have written) – no backing tracks are allowed.  You should be willing to come to our lunchtime meetings on Mondays in the Hub.
