SAINT ANDREW’S DAY BAKE SALE
As part of the MicroTyco Challenge, there will be a Scottish themed bake sale in the link corridor, at breaktime on Friday 30 November. There will be cupcakes, tablet and other treats sold at this event. Everyone is welcome – come along and treat yourself!
SLEEP IN THE PARK
Could all pupils who are attending the Sleep in the Park event please attend a meeting on Thursday 29 November at break time in room 28. Those who are collecting sponsorship money offline must hand this to Miss Graham by Monday 3 December. Remember you must raise at least £100 in order to guarantee yourself a ticket for the event.

SPORTS COUNCIL MEETING
Penicuik HS Sports Council will meet on Thursday 29 November at lunchtime in the PE classroom. Please bring lunch with you. This meeting is for all current & previous Young Ambassadors, pupils that were on the Sports Council last year and anyone who is interested in joining the Sports Council.

REMINDER – PUSHKIN PRIZE FOR CREATIVE WRITING
S1 and S2 – The next meeting for the Pushkin Prize writing competition will take place on Wednesday 5 December in room 45 at 1.10pm. Please bring your final piece of writing with you. We will be filling in entry forms on this day.
REMINDER – CHRISTMAS HAMPER APPEAL
Once again we are collecting items for our Christmas Hamper Collection. There are boxes in registration classes where items can be placed. Please bring in what you can. Register teachers have a list of suggested items if you are not sure what to bring. Items should be in school by Monday 3 December. Please help us help our local community this Christmas.
REMINDER – COLLEGE COURSES
Are you thinking about leaving school at Christmas? If so it is important that you apply for a January start college course even if it is a back-up to your intended plan. The applications have now opened for January start courses at Edinburgh College. To find out more look online, speak to Caroline Steele (Careers Adviser), or your guidance teacher, as soon as possible.
