BORDERS COLLEGE

Are you considering applying for a course at Borders College?  We are encouraging all potential applicants to Make March Matter by applying now for courses starting at Borders College in August 2018.  Please remember that for the majority of our courses we no longer require a formal interview, but applicants may be required to attend information or skills check day(s) – you can find out more in our Admissions Procedure.  Further details on all full-time courses can be found on our website or by scanning the QR code on the poster.

PENICUIK HIGH SCHOOL’S MARIE CURIE AWARENESS MONTH BAKE SALE

On Friday 23 March we will be having a Bake Sale as part of our ‘Marie Curie Awareness Month’.  Please remember to bring in some extra money so that we can raise funds for Marie Curie.  We will also have the daffodils at the Bake Sale, so you can get a daffodil and treat yourself to a cake!

Completed course choice sheets, (fully signed by teachers/parent/carer/guidance teacher), should be returned TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.  These were due on Friday 16 March for S4/S5 and this Friday 23 March for S2.

NURSING INSIGHT DAY SATURDAY 28 APRIL (S4 – S6)

The NHS is holding a Nursing Insight Day on Saturday 28 April for all students interested in a career within Nursing.  This is a full day event from 9.30am – 3.30pm at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.  Nursing staff will be on hand delivering presentations and practical workshops to students.  If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs Brandie as soon as possible.

PENICUIK HIGHS SCHOOL’S MARIE CURIE AWARENESS MONTH: DAFFODILS

As you will know, during March Penicuik High School is having a Marie Curie Awareness month.  As a part of this, we will be selling daffodils and we are just reminding you that we need your donation – please give what you want/what you can.  We are going round school selling them until Thursday 29 March.
