ACHIEVEMENT BOX  – LAUNCHING ON MONDAY 19 FEBRUARY

Penicuik HS Sports Council would like to celebrate pupils sporting achievements both in school but also out with and have introduced an achievement box.

Why?  The Sports Council feel that there are a lot of pupils who have sporting achievements but other pupils, staff and parents aren’t aware of these.

What?  Pupils can put in their own sporting achievements, friends sporting achievements or staff can put in pupil achievements.  We would also encourage parents to email (School email / kate.murray@midlothian.gov.uk) with any sporting achievements that they would like to let us know about and we will put these into the achievement box. The Sports Council will collate the information on a termly basis and the information will be included in the pupil bulletin and school newsletter.  The only information we need is the pupil name and their achievement.  We don’t need to know who put the information in the box.

Where?  There will be a box outside the PE department and a box at the school office.

When?  Boxes will be ready to use from Monday 19 February.
