A YEAR OF KINDNESS

This week the focus is on being active. Try to spend at least 30 minutes out in the fresh air – walking, running, cycling, skating, etc.

S1-S2 PUSHKIN PRIZE FOR CREATIVE WRITING

Pupils who are interested in entering this competition should come to a meeting TODAY at 1.10pm in room 45.  If possible, bring your first piece of writing with you.

DRESS DOWN DAY – FRIDAY 13 OCTOBER

To help raise money for UNICEF and the Rights Respecting School Award, we are having a dress down day on the last day of term before the October holiday. Everyone who wishes to take part needs to donate £1 which will be collected during Registration. S6 pupils will come round and collect the donations from each register class in the morning.

ICELAND TRIP – JUNE 2018

If you are interested in attending a trip to Iceland in June 2018, please attend a short meeting at break time on Friday 6 October in Room 25. The trip is open to S3, S4, S5 and S6. If you can’t make the meeting please speak to Mr Johnston or Miss Docherty before the end of the day on Friday.

Last year’s groups – remember you have your presentations to give next Wednesday 4 October at lunchtime in my room, please be there sharp. You all must be there and take part to pass your expedition section.

NATIONAL 5 REVISION

National 5 revision for S4 will start on Wednesday 4 October, 3:30- 4:30pm in Room 25. There will be a revision timetable outside Room 25 for anyone to check what will be covered. Please come and speak to me if there is something specific you would like to add to it.

S1 PHOTOS

Orders for S1 photos should be returned to the school office by Friday 13 October.  Please ensure your order + payment are secure in the envelope provided, and that your details are filled out on the front of the envelope.  Thank you.
